Join our vibrant San Francisco warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate! This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient handling and movement of goods. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a wide range of duties including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. You'll be responsible for maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to all safety protocols. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to teamwork and safety. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills within the logistics industry. We emphasize a secure and safe working environment, requiring all associates to wear appropriate PPE and follow established safety procedures diligently. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational targets.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and moving of packages (up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
