Join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials. Accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to safety are paramount in this role. You will perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs promptly. The ideal candidate will have excellent maneuverability skills, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack materials and products.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure proper handling of all materials to prevent damage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Participate in any required training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe forklift operation and warehouse safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and good spatial awareness.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
