As a Granite & Quartz Installer you will get to be the finishing touch on arguably one of the most important details of someone's home their - stone countertops

We ensure staff have top of the line equipment and tools to make their job easier including dollies that hydraulically lift the pieces for you, a cube truck with ramp so you're not picking pieces up out of a pick-up truck, state of the art seaming equipment. We supply all the tools and supplies to make your job easier. We also try to have extra staff available for lifting pieces on large or complicated installs.

We know that installs are a very important piece of the customer experience and finished product, and all the staff work collaboratively to ensure that installs go together seamlessly. Templates and Fabrication are done in house, and we work together so that your installs go as smooth as possible.

Location:

Work out of the recently developed Boxwood area in our newly constructed showroom/shop/building. Job sites are centralized around the central Vancouver Island region (Shawinigan to Port Alberni), with the occasional install in Victoria/Tofino/Gulf Islands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Load and unload materials for countertop installations

Use stone and woodworking tools to complete installs

Jointing pieces together to make awesome seams with seam phantom equipment

Hanging sinks, securing countertops to cabinets, shimming, making sure everything is level, flush and plum.

Mitres and custom hand fabrication onsite (ex. mitred waterfall panels, etc).

Keep cube truck, tools kits, and jobsite organized

Interact with customers as needed during installation process

Desired Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years in installer position (willing to train if candidate has relevant experience)

Clean drivers abstract

Have a strong attention to detail and take pride in finished product

Excellent customer service

Have experience in both residential and commercial work environments

Be able to lift 100+ lbs – this is a physically demanding position

Ability to work alongside collaboratively, and communicate effectively with our awesome team members

Be self-directed

Have reliable transportation to and from work

First Aid – Level 1 (or willingness to obtain within first 3 months of employment)

Job Type:

Full Time, Permanent

Wage: Competitive based on experience.

Additional Pay: Opportunity for Bonus pay and overtime
