Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Manager to lead our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service experiences. As a key leader during your shift, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and safety, and foster a positive environment for both staff and customers. Your enthusiasm for hospitality and strong management skills will drive the success of our restaurant, ensuring smooth service, efficient food preparation, and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all aspects of daily restaurant operations during your shift, including food preparation, customer service, and staff management
  • Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
  • Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality control in cooking, food handling, and presentation
  • Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, including cash handling and reconciliation at shift end
  • Train new staff members on food safety protocols, POS operation, customer service techniques, and restaurant procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and company policies at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a focus on food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Strong background in managing teams within hospitality or restaurant environments; supervising experience preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and inventory management
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff effectively
  • Experience in budgeting, inventory control, and cost management within a food service setting
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
