About The Position
Maricopa County is currently seeking a Workday Benefit Systems Analyst. This position will primarily focus on supporting Workday Benefit configuration, reporting, and/or integrations. The System Analyst will work closely with the Workday Benefit Administrator and other Benefits professionals to ensure that benefit data is accurate and that our employees have the best possible benefits experience

This position requires demonstrated experience serving as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams on projects in Workday. This includes requirements gathering, configuring, communicating/documenting information to technical and non-technical users, and working cross-functionally in support of Workday projects. We Require

  • Five years of demonstrated experience serving as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams on projects in Workday. This includes requirements gathering, configuring, communicating/documenting information to technical and non-technical users, and working cross-functionally in support of Workday projects.
  • A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.

Job Contributions

  • Responsible for the identification, development, and recommendation of business processes and system changes and improvements as they relate to Benefits
  • Work closely with Benefit Partners to understand and evaluate business needs and processes, and analyze the impact of system changes.
  • In partnership with the Benefit Administrator, conduct needs assessments, evaluate standard operating procedures, model process improvements, develop functional and process requirements, create process flow documentation, participate in implementation testing, and provide training to functional areas and other IT staff.
  • Responsible for production system support, which includes, but is not limited to, escalated research assistance.
  • Assist with integrations, which includes gathering requirements, development, testing, and creating and/or updating technical/functional documentation.
  • Assist with reporting, which includes gathering requirements, development, testing, migration, and creating and/or updating documentation.
  • Assist with projects such as Open Enrollment and Workday Release.
