Line Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Our work schedule is Tuesday- Saturday with Sundays and Mondays off. Kitchen also receives a Percentage of nightly tips as an incentive to keep our standards and quality as best as possible.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
• Adhere to proper food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in training sessions for new kitchen staff on culinary techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cook or in the food industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary aide practices and catering services is a plus.
• Strong skills in meal preparation, food handling, and culinary techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
