JOB GOAL: Assist with ensuring the efficient operation of the school office and/or administrative department
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
ESSENTIAL AND MARGINAL FUNCTIONSESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Organize and promote a welcoming customer-focused office.Provide primary secretarial services for the Principal/Assistant Principal/Department Supervisor as necessary. Facilitates meeting agendas, logistics, and meetings.Prepare, edit, and manage correspondence, communications, reports, presentations, maintain building/department social media accounts, and other documentation.Support the budget, inventory, and purchasing processes, including contract management.Manage complex projects assigned.Obtain, organize, and enter pertinent data in an accurate and timely fashion.Establish and maintain records, filing and scanning systems.Assist in maintaining child accounting records as needed.Serve as a vital liaison for communication involving staff, students, parents, and community.MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Coordinate all clerical functions for the supervisor/department.Assist in providing building/department information and procedures.Maintain departmental policies, procedure manuals and work instructions.Must be willing to engage in ongoing professional development.Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Supplemental InformationREPORTS TO: Principal/Assistant Principal or designeeTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Job Calendar Specific EVALUATION: For new employees, evaluations will be performed according to the current collective bargaining agreement. For transferring employees, evaluations will be done at 30 days. All regular employees will be evaluated at least yearly.
