Senior Project Manager – Data Center Design & Construction

We are seeking an experienced Design Project Manager to lead end-to-end design efforts for large-scale data center projects—from early planning and basis-of-design through construction documentation. This role is ideal for someone who excels at coordinating cross-functional teams, driving clarity in complex technical environments, and ensuring projects stay on schedule, on budget, and aligned with client needs.

You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external design partners to develop high-performing, innovative, and scalable infrastructure solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead design planning and kickoff workshops with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage design reviews and large-scale coordination sessions
• Develop scopes of work and manage design services contractsBuild and guide multi-disciplinary design teams
• Oversee project cost, schedule, scope, and reporting
• Ensure clear and timely communication across all parties
• Manage design changes and related impacts
• Coordinate design deliverables with procurement and construction teams
• Ensure accurate and timely release of engineering documents

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
• Professional licensure (PE, RA, etc.) strongly preferred — or 15+ years of equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience managing design and/or construction projects
• Strong understanding of building design + construction methods
• Experience leading project teams and managing multiple workstreams
• Skilled in writing scopes of work and reviewing technical documents
• Familiarity with building codes, permitting, and regulatory processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with data center projects is a strong plus, but similar complex facilities are also valued, including: Hospitals or healthcare facilities, Large commercial high-rise buildings, Laboratories or clean rooms, Manufacturing plants / fabs, Power generation or high-power infrastructure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $172, $190,410.00 per year
