Carpenter / Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated,reliable and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to grow and build with. This position is an entry level position with quick opportunities for pay raises, and business growth.

Duties

• Assist in constructing, installing, repairing, and remodeling structures using hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, and hammers
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
• Perform framing work including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming for various structures
• Install fixtures, doors, siding, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and other finishing components with precision
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and performing heavy lifting tasks safely
• Apply skills in plastering, stucco application, caulking, roofing, and water damage restoration as needed
• Support fabrication and assembly tasks in manufacturing or restoration projects involving rebar installation or metal stud framing

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for carpentry tasks
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading to ensure accurate project execution
• Experience with various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinetry installation, and door hanging
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to perform heavy lifting safely
• Knowledge of schematics for electrical or plumbing systems related to remodeling or restoration projects
• Ability to perform masonry work such as bricklaying or concrete forming when required
• Experience in the restoration industry including mold remediation and water damage restoration techniques
• Skills in roofing installation, siding application, metal stud framing, drywall finishing (including plastering), and flooring installation
• Basic understanding of electrical experience for fixture installation or minor electrical tasks
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise fabrication or renovation work
