Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of store management, sales strategies, and team development. This role is pivotal in ensuring excellent customer service, efficient store functioning, and achieving sales targets through effective team supervision and operational oversight.

Duties

  • Lead and manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
  • Supervise staff performance, provide coaching, training, and development to enhance team productivity.
  • Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Handle customer service issues professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy.
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts including interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to promote store products and services effectively.
  • Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Oversee POS systems, purchasing decisions, and inventory replenishment processes.
  • Maintain organizational standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare reports related to sales, budgets, and operational metrics for management review.

Requirements

  • Proven supervising experience in retail or related fields with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail sales techniques.
  • Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and store management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and customer service excellence principles.
  • Administrative experience including bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and manage team dynamics efficiently.
  • Exceptional math skills for inventory control and financial tasks; phone etiquette is essential. This position offers an opportunity for a motivated leader to contribute significantly to our retail success while developing their managerial expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: $18.00-$36.03 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
