Position Summary
AMI Group is seeking a highly motivated Marketing and Events Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for executing marketing strategies and managing trade shows and customer events to strengthen AMI's brand presence. The position requires a blend of creativity, organization, and strategic thinking to ensure all initiatives align with AMI's overall brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Support
- Maintain AMI Group brand book and ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Develop internal and external Canva templates for cross-functional use.
- Development of private label packaging designs
- Support the commercial team with customer presentations and marketing materials.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including testing, tracking, and optimization.
Trade Show & Event Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive trade show plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Coordinate attendee communications, registration, travel, and updates.
- Manage booth assignments, layouts, and exhibitor services to optimize visibility.
- Oversee event logistics such as setup, catering, signage, transportation, and accommodations.
- Organize networking events and social functions associated with trade shows.
- Create and distribute promotional materials and campaigns to drive attendance.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate budget reports for executive review.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in event management.
- Partner with sales to manage customer events outside of trade shows.
Market Research & Media
- Manage AMI's LinkedIn profile and maintain website content.
- Collaborate with media outlets for articles and press releases.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive insights, and customer preferences.
- Work with the commercial team to define target audiences and engagement strategies.
- Monitor industry developments and emerging technologies to enhance marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Planning, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing or event planning; travel industry experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Canva, Illustrator, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in budget management.
