About the Role:

We're seeking a Human Resources Advisor to support both internal and external recruitment for our Gas & Pipelines and Electricity business units. In this position, you'll manage full-cycle recruitment, facilitate internal mobility, and advance key HR initiatives such as employee and labour relations. 

Strong consulting abilities are essential for this position, as you will work closely with hiring leaders to ensure that recruitment processes are streamlined and fully compliant with company policies and collective agreements. You will also oversee internal competitions, utilizing your expertise in various collective agreements to offer guidance and support throughout the selection process.

What You Get To Do:

  • Manage all aspects of in-scope recruitment for internal and external candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring leaders to ensure process consistency and effective candidate selection.
  • Maintain accurate employee documentation and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and related tools.
  • Support strategic sourcing and mobility initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement across HR processes.
  • Participate in interviews and develop recommendations using established evaluation tools.
  • Monitor resourcing trends to improve processes and service delivery.
  • Lead and manage internal competitions, coordinating postings and selection activities with hiring managers.

What You Bring:

  • Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a unionized work environment.
  • Experienced in leading internal competitions and using evaluation tools to ensure fair, consistent selection in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • General knowledge of HR practices and processes, and employment laws.
  • Effective communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Oracle Cloud experience an asset.
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
  • CPHR designation or working towards it is considered an asset.
