We are actively recruiting Material Handlers for our Fort Worth, Texas facility. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are moved, sorted, and stored correctly to meet production and customer needs. You will work with a variety of equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, and will be involved in loading and unloading shipments. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, accuracy, and productivity. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. Your diligence ensures the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Move materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to production or shipping areas.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Sort and organize materials for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling and documentation.
- Ensure a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and the use of required PPE.
- Identify and report damaged materials or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily logistics targets.
- Participate in any required lifting and moving of goods, adhering to proper techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is desirable.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding role.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
