We are seeking reliable and efficient Picker/Packers to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a crucial role in our fulfillment center, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include retrieving specific items from inventory using RF scanners, meticulously packing them according to quality standards, and preparing them for shipment. Accuracy and speed are essential to meet our operational demands and maintain high customer satisfaction. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing directly to the successful delivery of goods. A strong emphasis on safety is expected, with all team members required to follow established safety protocols and consistently wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and perform regular lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to ensure they are protected during shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Work collaboratively with other associates to achieve daily order fulfillment goals.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a quick pace while maintaining quality standards.
- Willingness to strictly follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Capacity to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
