We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is a fundamental role in our e-commerce fulfillment process, directly impacting our ability to deliver products to customers efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. You'll navigate the warehouse using RF scanners or pick lists, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are selected. Quality control is paramount; you will be responsible for inspecting items for defects before packing and ensuring all orders are correctly assembled. This role demands speed, accuracy, and a strong work ethic. A commitment to safety is essential, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in the warehouse environment. You must be comfortable with physical tasks, including frequent lifting of items up to 35 lbs and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 35 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and meet performance targets.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
