Join our vibrant logistics team in the heart of New York City! We are seeking meticulous Order Pickers to ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. This role is fundamental to our distribution center's operations, focusing on the precise retrieval and preparation of items for shipment. You will utilize advanced scanning technology and work within a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and gather products based on order specifications using RF scanners.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of picked orders before they move to the next stage.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular checks of inventory locations for accuracy.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Properly utilize all required PPE to ensure personal and team safety.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong understanding of and adherence to safety protocols, including correct PPE usage.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain performance in a busy, high-pressure logistics environment.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
