We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Houston, Texas facility. This multifaceted role is central to our logistics operations, involving the management of both incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for accurately receiving goods, verifying quantities and condition, and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Accurately document all received and shipped items.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and arrange for carrier pickups.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with stock management.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and scanners.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must wear required PPE.
