We are looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products to fulfill customer orders. Your primary duties will involve navigating the warehouse, locating specific items based on pick tickets or scanner data, and preparing them for packing and shipment. This position requires someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE is essential. This is a key role in our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders or pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners or other technology to identify and track picked items.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly wear and utilize all required PPE , including safety shoes and vests.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet picking quotas and deadlines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
