You will be responsible for navigating our warehouse, locating and retrieving specific items based on customer orders, and preparing them for the next stage of fulfillment. Precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail are essential. This position operates within a fast-paced warehouse environment, requiring physical agility and the capacity for repeated lifting. We are deeply committed to workplace safety and expect all team members to rigorously adhere to safety regulations and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to digital or paper pick lists.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory and confirm order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Verify the contents of each order before it proceeds to the next step.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking techniques.
- Keep the picking zones organized and free from obstructions.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment safely.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE such as safety vests and gloves.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Capacity to work quickly and efficiently in a busy warehouse setting.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is a plus.
