Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in Boise, Idaho! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to our fast-paced logistics operations. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This role requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. You will work closely with other warehouse associates and supervisors to meet daily targets and uphold our commitment to excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and possess the physical stamina for repeated lifting and movement throughout the shift. We prioritize safety and provide all necessary training to ensure a secure working environment. Adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order specifications using provided scanning equipment.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Verify order accuracy before and after packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as trained.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous picking or packing experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in logistics or warehousing is beneficial.
