Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts, receiving, and stocking.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse floor, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Operate various machinery and tools required for warehouse tasks.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Utilize proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times in designated areas.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
