Join our vibrant logistics team in Austin, Texas, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking motivated individuals to efficiently and accurately pick and pack customer orders. This role is crucial for ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of products.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Label packages with shipping information.
- Operate hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed picking and packing productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including some lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, packing, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Experience with lifting items up to 40 lbs regularly.
