Host/Hostess

We are guest-centric, and fast-paced, and our goal is to provide Great Food and Great Service to all our guests.

Its just 1-2 Part Time MORNING Shifts ranging between 8 am - 3 pm on Sat or Sunday mornings. Great for High School Kids living around the neighbourhood. On Long weekends you have to work on Fridays or Monday mornings depending on which day is a Stat. Holiday.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the Cafe.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the menu & any other guest's queries.
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards guests at all times

Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
