About the Role
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Technology team. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you'll lead and mentor front-end and back-end developers, own technical direction, and work closely with Product and QA to design, build, and deliver reliable, secure systems that consistently create real value for customers.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee Front-End and Back-End developers
  • Monitor system reliability, performance and security
  • Conduct regular check-ins with Engineering team members
  • Assist in rolling out and defining internal systems and policy
  • Align squad-based goals with Engineering and Product objectives
  • Assist in debugging code issues and fixing problematic code and architecture problems
  • Taking point on technical design of solutions
  • Collaborate with Product and QA peers to deliver value to customers

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in the Saas space
  • Education or training in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 2 + years of experience leading an engineering team
  • Experience with  Ruby and or React
  • Strengths in communication, collaboration, organization, etc.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally; valid passport with no travel restrictions (Canada/USA; Vietnam if required)

Compensation: $105,000.00–$145,000.00 CAD per year

This role requires working onsite in our Cambridge office two days per week.
