The Role An experienced Data Analyst is required to support operational and leadership teams by turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the operation and seeing the direct impact of their work across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse operational, preparation and service‑centre data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement
Process‑map the end‑to‑end operational journey, highlighting inefficiencies and areas for enhancement
Build, maintain and improve interactive dashboards and reports to support real-time decision making
Work closely with leadership and operational teams to deliver actionable insights that drive performance and profitability
Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across multiple systems
Identify gaps in current systems and data usage, supporting business cases for improvement
Desirable Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Data Analyst role, ideally within retail or manufacturing
Advanced Power BI experience (2+ years essential)
Strong SQL skills with the ability to interrogate full databases
Strong Excel capability
Experience analysing large, complex datasets
Confident data visualisation skills
An inquisitive, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving ability
Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical insight for non‑technical stakeholders
Strong organisation and time‑management skills
Familiarity with databases and data warehousing concepts
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Bonus (not essential)
Python experience
Exposure to project management or change initiatives
