We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support the integration of newly acquired schools into this organisations estate.
You’ll play a key role in Microsoft 365 user and device migrations, working closely with third-party partners and IT teams to deliver a smooth, customer-focused transition. When not migrating, you’ll support our service desk with escalated technical issues.
This is initially a short term engagement and will require working across continual week days and weekend work.
What you’ll be doing
Leading Microsoft 365, Entra ID & Intune migrations
Preparing users, devices, apps and printers (PaperCut)
Providing on-site migration support where required
Acting as a technical bridge between internal teams and suppliers
Mentoring and sharing knowledge across IT
What we’re looking for
Solid experience in a IT Engineer / Infrastructure Technician role
Strong Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Entra ID & Intune skills
Solid networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, VLANs, IP)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience in education or Apple/JAMF environments a bonus

Location - Essex - Onsite
Rate - £250 - £300 per day - Outside of IR35
Work schedule - Weekdays
