Machine Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machines and equipment, ensuring high-quality production standards, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires a strong understanding of Machine operation, Documentation, Food Safety, and basic math skills to effectively contribute to our assembly line processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery including Roasters, Elevators, and VFDs.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Handle materials efficiently, including packaging finished products for shipment.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize forklift equipment for materials handling when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
• collect sterile samples.
• work in a fast changing pace and be able to keep up with changeovers and documentation.

Experience

• 1 year of machine operation experience from a food production or manufacturing plant.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic math skills are required for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Experience with materials handling and packaging processes is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
