Kitchen Chef

We are seeking a part-time Chef to join our team at EKO Karaoke Lounge located in Buena Park, CA. We are looking to fill this position ASAP. Must be available 3 nights a week (Saturdays and Sundays + Thursdays and potentially more as time goes on).

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate kitchen and food orders
• Check freshness and quality of ingredients
• Ability to work with co-workers and other team members
• Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
• Passion for food and cooking techniques
• Knife skills a must (Fruit platter presentation)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Well-groomed and good hygiene
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (minimum of 8 hours/day).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Pay: $ per hour + Tips

Schedule:

• 8 hour shifts
• Holidays
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Cooking Experience: 1yrs min.
• Fusion Food Experience: preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
