Personal Care Assistant

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor and report changes in client's health status.
• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
• Administer medication under the direction of a healthcare professional.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
• Knowledge of various care settings such as medical-surgical, PICU, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, Level I Trauma Center, clinic, teaching hospital, geriatrics, and outpatient care.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and age groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
