As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead and scale our human capital initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. This role requires strong leadership skills to oversee HR functions, develop effective programs, and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company goals. The Human Resources Manager will shape our organizational structure, onboard and manage HRIS systems, ensure the efficient delivery of HR services across all departments, and lead the growth and success of our most valued asset - our people

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

· Responsible for all aspects of workforce planning and talent acquisition. Manage and recommend best practices for all internal processes related to hiring. Will develop and maintain recruiting relationships with universities, professional networks, and industry partners.

Compensation, Benefits & Total Rewards

· In collaboration with Finance team, build and administer compensation programs, annual bonus processes, and incentive structures aligned with firm performance and partner on the development of an equity program. Will oversee & coordinate all benefits programs (health, dental, life, disability, 401(k), PTO, WFH, etc.), including yearly renewals and employee communications. Conduct yearly benchmarking studies to ensure competitive offerings.

Performance Management & Professional Development

· Develop and implement firm-wide performance review processes and self-assessments with clear objectives, feedback mechanisms and KPI's. Collaborate with management to onboard new hires and identify high impact training and development opportunities as well as mentorship opportunities across the organization.

Culture, Engagement & Internal Communication

· Foster a positive, inclusive culture that reflects Bartholomew & Company's mission and values. Lead employee engagement initiatives, including regular surveys, analysis, and action planning. Manage employee communications; develop and manage firm-wide events and internal communications forums (ex: town halls, newsletters, leadership updates).

Employee Relations, Compliance & HR Administration

· Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution, in accordance with applicable employment law. Provide management training and manage all documentation and reporting requirements. Develop and recommend firm HR policies, as appropriate.

Organizational Development & Scaling Infrastructure

· Participate in integration planning and onboarding of acquired or affiliated practices. Implement HR systems (HRIS, performance management tools, applicant tracking systems) to improve operational efficiency. Leverage a digital approach in as many areas as possible. Develop and track HR-related KPIs such as headcount growth, retention, and employee engagement. Maintain a budget for departmental expenses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and strategic mindset. Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Experience working in regulated industries; investment industry experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter, strong problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to manage complex challenges with a can-do attitude. Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and empower employees and leaders.
  • High level of personal integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience using and onboarding HRIS platforms.

Skills

  • Knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA, workers' compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting strategies, succession planning, and HR sourcing tools .
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills for effective employee relations and conflict management.
  • Demonstrated ability in onboarding and managing HRIS systems; proficient in data collection & analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on training & development initiatives.
  • Expertise in organizational design, process improvement methodologies, and program management within human resources functions.
  • Familiarity with HR metrics reporting; adept at strategic planning and budgeting related to human resources operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75, $90,000.00 per year
