 SMPLFD Printing Co is a Detroit-based screen printing, embroidery, and graphic design shop that's been delivering quality custom apparel since 2004. We work with everyone from local artists to nationwide brands, bringing creative visions to life through exceptional printing and finishing services.

We're growing our sales structure and building more consistency, speed, and clarity into how we serve clients. The Client Support Specialist plays a key role in that evolution.

The Role

We're looking for a Client Support Specialist to manage inbound inquiries, prepare accurate quotes, follow up on active opportunities, and support a high volume of small-to-mid-size client accounts.

You'll be the first line of communication for many clients and the person who keeps projects moving from the initial inquiry through production handoff.

This role is primarily based on-site in our Detroit shop to support close collaboration with production and client teams, though remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where communication and follow-through matter. You'll work closely with our Customer Experience Manager, production team, and leadership to maintain a smooth, consistent client experience.

What You'll Do

Manage Inbound Requests


• Respond quickly and professionally to new inquiries via email, phone, or website


• Gather project details, timelines, and artwork files


• Qualify opportunities and create accurate project records in Printavo and


• Set clear expectations with clients around timelines and next steps

Prepare Quotes + Follow Up


• Build accurate quotes using SMPLFD's pricing structure


• Confirm details with the production team when necessary


• Follow up on open quotes consistently to drive conversion


• Track updates and communication clearly in our systems

Support and Maintain Small-to-Mid-Size Accounts


• Manage recurring clients who order seasonally or semi-regularly


• Send reorder reminders, seasonal check-ins, and quick follow-ups


• Reactivate dormant clients with simple, thoughtful outreach


• Ensure clients feel supported even without high-touch engagement

Coordinate Orders with Production


• Collect deposits, artwork, and missing details


• Ensure clean and accurate job setup for production


• Communicate scheduling or preparation timelines to clients


• Support smooth transitions from sales to production and back

Sales + Administrative Support


• Maintain CRM and project tracking tools


• Assist with post-order communication (thank-yous, review requests)


• Support seasonal promotions, outreach lists, or follow-up campaigns

Team Support & Flexibility


• Step in to assist production or fulfillment during peak periods when needed


• Help with tasks like organizing garments, packing orders, or light prep work


• Support the team-first culture that keeps SMPLFD running smoothly
