Construction Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction General Laborer to support residential and light commercial construction projects. This role involves assisting skilled trades, handling materials, and maintaining safe and organized job sites. The ideal candidate is motivated, physically capable, and eager to learn and grow within the construction field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential and light commercial construction tasks, including site preparation, demolition, and cleanup
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Support skilled trades such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various construction tasks
• Help set up and break down job sites, including ladders, scaffolding, and temporary structures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards
• Follow supervisor instructions and project plans accurately
• Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or material shortages promptly
• Work efficiently with team members to meet project schedules and deadlines

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or light commercial construction preferred
• Knowledge of basic construction methods, tools, and materials
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools (certifications a plus)
• Strong physical stamina; able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Basic understanding of job-site safety practices and procedures
• Ability to take direction, work independently when needed, and collaborate with a team
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to learn new skills and advance within the company

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
