POSITION PROFILE:Deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner and act as liaison between the front of house staff and back of house staff to ensure smooth food delivery.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:- Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to guests.
- Maintain knowledge of all ingredient details to each dish on the menu.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff.
- Refill water and periodically check on guests to handle any issues promptly.
- Maintain our high food safety and sanitation standards.
- Clean and reset tables.
Education: High school education or equivalent experience
Experience: Six months – 1 year in a food/beverage services environment or establishment
Skills and Abilities: Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure at times. Understand and be knowledgeable of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures. Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and carry containers and trays loaded with food and liquids. Able to read, speak and understand English. Able to lift, push, carry lbs. Stand continuously for long periods of time. Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.
