We are filling a Transportation Supervisory position.

Responsibilities and Duties

SUPERVISOR

Oversee; direct and coordinate in a timely fashion, the driver's day, maintaining company standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the management and direction of our two NJ locations (Newark & Bellmawr) transportation staff, compliance with government regulations, hiring, training, along with safety and security of the transportation department. Must fill-in as a delivery driver when necessary (hand-truck deliveries). This is a field position that requires working directly with drivers to train, coach and monitor their performance and also addressing concerns.

Qualifications and Skills

· MUST HAVE A CDL A LICENSE WITH DELIVERY DRIVING EXPERIENCE

· Have 3 to 5 years' management or supervisory experience preferably in the food industry managing a distribution warehouse or transportation/DOT department/facility

· Must be detail oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment with good reasoning/common sense, motivational and interpersonal skills

· Have a proven track record for streamlining, organizing, training, hiring, etc.

· Knowledge of internet cloud-based transportation routing programs, dispatch software, handhelds, and printers

SALARY: $70,000 + is based on supervisory, delivery, knowledge of DOT regulations and use of handheld scanning experience.
