Manufacturing / Process Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manages one or more engineering projects related to production operations
  • Works closely with various stakeholders to identify business requirements, streamline processes, and ensure the effective use of technology to achieve business goals
  • May interact with customers, vendors and suppliers

Skills, Experience & Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical or biomedical) required
  • One or more years hands-on work experience in manufacturing/machining environment. Med device or aerospace experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, project management, and time management skills required
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting abilities essential
  • Experience in MS Office, AutoCAD, SPC and related engineering tools required
  • Must be able to work effectively in fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects to successfully meet deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative and drive to organize and manage projects to successful outcomes
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required, with the ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with others. Must be able to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to staff
    Position is on-site/in office.
