Muslim Hands, a dynamic charity organization, is seeking dedicated Donor Engagement Representative for a temporary position for Ramadan 2025. This role focuses on raising funds for campaigns by contacting donors, sharing updates, and encouraging contributions aligned with their giving profiles.

Job Title: Donor Engagement Representative (Temporary - Ramadan Period)

Location: Mississauga, ON

Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time (7 days a week)

Salary: $20/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Reach out to major and regular donors via phone to encourage additional contributions.
• Reconnect with lapsed donors, providing updates on ongoing initiatives.
• Communicate campaign goals and impact, clearly and persuasively.
• Record and maintain donor interactions accurately in the database.
• Ensure confidentiality of donor data and follow communication scripts.
• Provide feedback and reports on outreach activities.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills.
• Experience in call centres or customer service (preferred).
• Empathy for charitable causes and team-oriented.
• Fluency in Arabic or French is an asset.
• Must have knowledge of common Islamic terminology such as Sadaqah, Zakat, Sadaqah Jariyah, Ramadan, Eid AI-Fitr.
• Full training will be provided. However, Ramadan is our busiest period of the year, therefore you will be working 7 days a week. This will mean providing telephone cover from 12 PM to 6 PM. · Please note that these timings are tentative and may be subject to a +/- 1-hour adjustment.

Working Conditions:

• Location: On-site in Mississauga, ON.
• Schedule: Full-time, 7 days a week during Ramadan (specific hours to be confirmed).
• Duration: Temporary, specific to the Ramadan period.
