The Opportunity:

The Workforce Analyst is a key enablement role that advances CGMH's people systems, reporting, and workforce insights. You will support People Services data systems and dashboards, optimize systems and provide timely, trusted analytics. This position is responsible for analyzing workforce trends, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate People Services metrics to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a post-secondary program in Human Resources, People Analytics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in workforce planning and data visualization tools
  • Previous experience with HRIS and reporting systems required
  • Demonstrated capability in descriptive and predictive analytics, forecasting, benchmarking, and storytelling with data.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (word processing, excel) as well as email with demonstrated experience developing complex spreadsheets, queries, and reports.
  • Experience with time and attendance and eLearning systems. Surge learning preferred.
  • Experience leading project implementation
  • Experience in a unionized or healthcare environment considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships particularly with Finance Department
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and data integrity

Duties and Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain workforce dashboards and reports to monitor staffing levels, turnover, and key People metrics
  • Responsible for completion of OHA surveys, Ministry Reporting, Economic surveys, union specific related reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for reporting on People Services initiatives e.g eLearning completion rates
  • Support annual workforce planning and budgeting processes
  • Lead or support HR systems upgrades and integrations such as time and attendance and/or applicant tracking systems
  • Ensure accuracy of HR data in HRIS and related systems
  • Prepare reports for leadership and external stakeholders as required
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within People Services
  • Respond to data-related inquiries and provide guidance on workforce analytics
  • Additional duties anticipated in alignment with People Plan under development

Hours of Work: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

Wage: $ $42.05 per hour
