The Role
The FP&A Analyst supports financial planning, budgeting, and analytical initiatives that guide strategic decisions across the Community Supports division. This role partners with department leaders to prepare budgets, forecast financial performance, analyze trends, and support month-end reporting. The analyst ensures data accuracy, collaborates cross-functionally to align financial insights with operational priorities, and contributes to the development of scalable, data-driven financial models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders and executives to support annual budgeting and forecasting processes, modeling both financial and operational metrics.
• Analyze monthly financial performance, comparing results to budget and providing variance explanations in collaboration with the AP and accounting teams.
• Prepare financial reporting packages, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Record and reconcile payroll expenses, ensuring accuracy of accruals and allocations during month-end close.
• Assist in the creation of service-level income statements and cost allocation models by partnering with operations and accounting.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis, trend reporting, and commission calculations to inform strategic decision-making.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and improve forecasting accuracy.

This is a hybrid position, coming into the El Segundo office 3x per week.
What You Bring To The Table
Skills

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Intermediate understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with NetSuite and Power BI preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Organized, reliable, and proactive approach to workload management

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or related financial roles
• Experience supporting multi-location or service-based organizations preferred
• Strong understanding of budgeting, operational expense tracking, and financial reporting
