Job Summary

The Instructor ensures the accuracy, quality and effective presentation of the programs of the Dexter Institute Labrador. Reporting to the General Manager, Dexter Institute Labrador, the Instructor is to instruct on safety courses and other required material while maintaining a high-level learning environment. The Instructor will be proficient in training activities and have knowledge of all Occupational Health and Safety Acts applicable to the company's operation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Instruct courses offered by The Dexter Institute; courses may consist of courses developed internally or courses developed externally.
• Instruct and facilitate small equipment training in accordance with Dexter Safe Operating Procedures
• Inspect fall arrest equipment
• Maintain a high-level learning environment ensuring consistent high standard delivery of courses offered by the Dexter Institute.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

• 5+ years industrial experience
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Bilingual an asset, but not mandatory
