Job Title: Design and Analysis Engineer -Electrical Systems Design
Location: Berkeley, MO
Salary Range: $80-90/hr on w2
Contract: 12+ Months, possible extension
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (only US citizen required)

Introduction

Join our dynamic team as a key contributor in designing and analyzing electrical systems for defense and space air dominance projects. We are seeking an inspiring and self-motivated individual with exceptional leadership abilities to work on the F/A-18 Systems Electrical Design, focusing on System Wiring Diagrams for current and future production and retrofit programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 9 years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 7 years with a Master's OR 4 years with a PhD.
• 5 years' experience developing wiring harness designs using Siemens Mentor Graphics.
• Familiarity with hardware-software airplane level integration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship (only US citizens).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 7 years' experience developing wiring harness designs using Siemens Mentor Graphics.
• 7 years' experience in airplane-level subsystems development and integration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with USN Technical Orders.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Communicate across various teams and functions, fostering collaboration and building consensus.
• Mentor less experienced wire design engineers.
• Develop System Wire Diagrams for F/A-18 production and retrofit projects using Siemens Mentor Graphics.
• Work in a team environment with minimal direction.
• Engage in functional engineering, integration, and issue resolution.
