Here at Creative Liquid Coatings we do far more than just liquid coatings. Over the past 30 years the business has expanded to offer advanced plastic injection molding capability with 40 machines ranging in size from 100 ton to 3600 ton at our HQ facilities. In addition to plastics molding we offer world class automated paint finishing capability. Our versatile paint lines can handle parts that are very small and all the way up to 10 feet long. We process an array of performance materials from commodity grades to custom blends and engineered thermoplastic resins.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Injection Molding Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing plastic products and processes within our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Support mold trials and help transition new tooling and models into production.
  • Investigate and resolve scrap, cycle time, and process variability issues.
  • Collaborate with production, tooling, and maintenance teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Participate in capital projects involving molding equipment and automation.
  • Assist with tooling reviews and design feedback using CAD and 3D modeling software.
  • Identify and implement process changes that drive down cost and improve part quality
  • Oversee new tool start-up and qualification
  • Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve equipment performance and operations as well as support the introduction of new molds, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in plastics injection molding and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tooling, fabrication, and welding techniques.
  • Knowledge of plant layouts and infrastructure equipment. Proven experience managing multiple resources and complex projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to communicate technical and financial information and to complete project assignments on time and within approved budgets.
  • Knowledge of project management processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong communication and people skills to influence and manage multiple cross-functional resources.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $95,000.00 per year
