Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and ensuring that all ingredients are ready for our chefs to create delicious meals. Duties

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
• Support chefs during meal preparation by following recipes and instructions accurately.
• Ensure that all food items are stored properly and labeled according to safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Participate in inventory management by reporting low stock levels of ingredients.

Skills

• Experience in a kitchen setting, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and dietary requirements is a plus.
