Our chiropractic office is seeking a knowledgeable, attentive, and patient-centered Personal Trainer to support clients in improving strength, mobility, and overall wellness. In this unique role, you will work alongside our chiropractors to help patients transition from treatment to functional movement, corrective exercise, and long-term fitness. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of movement mechanics, enjoys working with individuals recovering from injuries, and can deliver safe, personalized programs aligned with clinical recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with chiropractors to develop exercise programs that complement patients' treatment plans and support injury recovery.
- Conduct fitness and mobility assessments to identify movement limitations, muscular imbalances, and strength deficits.
- Guide patients through corrective exercises, flexibility training, strengthening techniques, and functional movement patterns.
- Provide one-on-one instruction to ensure proper form, technique, and safety—especially for clients with postural or musculoskeletal issues.
- Track patient progress, document sessions, and communicate updates to the chiropractic team.
- Educate clients on healthy movement habits, posture, ergonomics, and preventive exercise strategies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized exercise area; ensure all equipment is sanitized and well-maintained.
- Support overall patient experience with professionalism, empathy, and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Certified Personal Trainer from an accredited organization (NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, etc.).
- CPR/AED certification.
- Strong understanding of functional training, biomechanics, and movement-based rehabilitation.
- Comfortable working with clients dealing with pain, limited mobility, or recovering from injuries (within scope of practice).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in Corrective Exercise, Functional Movement, Rehab Fitness, or similar specialties.
- Experience working in a chiropractic, physical therapy, or clinical wellness setting.
- Familiarity with therapeutic exercise principles and postural correction.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Work within a collaborative chiropractic team environment.
- Sessions may include post-treatment exercise guidance, ongoing corrective training, or long-term wellness programming.
- Flexible part-time or full-time schedule, depending on patient flow and office needs.
