Job Summary
The Division Controller for Professional Solutions (PS) serves as a senior financial leader for a rapidly growing, multi-business-unit division of CoolSys, generating approximately $280 million in annual revenue. This role partners directly with the Division President and business unit general managers to drive profitability, discipline, and sustainable growth across engineering, energy, facility solutions, equipment sales, and project management operations.

As a private-equity-owned business, CoolSys requires a Division Controller with exceptional rigor in financial execution, especially around monthly financial close, forecasting accuracy, and performance reporting. The successful candidate will ensure operational excellence in financial management, deliver timely and transparent results, and provide critical insights that inform strategic decision-making, and business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Serve as a financial advisor to the Division President and leadership team, providing strategic insights that drive growth, profitability, and capital efficiency.
• Assist with the divisional budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes in alignment with corporate and ownership objectives.
• Partner with Finance to drive financial modeling and due diligence for partnerships and new vertical initiatives (e.g., Data Centers, Facility Solutions, Energy Resilience) in collaboration with the Divisional Director of FP&A.
• Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate project profitability, margin mix, and cash conversion efficiency.

Financial Operations & Governance

• Oversee all divisional accounting, project cost tracking, and management reporting across multiple business units.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely monthly closes, forecasts, and performance reviews in accordance with corporate deadlines.
