Fixed Pay Rate: $18.53 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a diligent, compassionate, and reliable Housekeeper to join our team; responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the community, ensuring that residents feel comfortable and cared for in their living spaces. This role is essential in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean residents' apartments on a scheduled basis, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, such as lounges, hallways, dining rooms, restrooms, and activity rooms.
• Ensure all cleaning duties are performed in accordance with community standards and health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the supervisor.
• Interact with residents and their families in a pleasant, respectful, and professional manner, addressing concerns promptly and courteously.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items observed during cleaning to the appropriate department.
• Follow all infection control policies and procedures to maintain a healthy living environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related field (experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward seniors.
