Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead Bakery Team to
Measure, mix, scale, and hand-mould various types of artisanal bread
Hand-Mould bread, baguettes, boule, etc.
Bake and score traditional bread and bakery products
Operate bakery equipment (i.e. commercial mixers, rack ovens, proofer, bread slicer)
Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts
Schedule Bakery Team Members to ensure that production and customer needs are met
Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed
Assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance work team
Train, develop, and motivate Bakery Team Members
Resolve customer and Bakery Department concerns and complaints, and provide a positive customer experience
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
Champion the Freson Bros. brand and culture by modeling our qualities of Drive, Integrity, and Growth
Providing an exceptional customer experience
What you Bring:
2 years minimum progressive bakery or restaurant management experience
A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a bakery or restaurant environment
Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs
Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills
A passion for leading and developing others
Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
Comfortable working during peak bakery hours mornings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
Knowledge of the basic principles of bakery preparation, various baking methods, and food safety regulations
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
