GRITCYCLE'S CORE VALUES
Teamwork
Company culture - We work to promote a community that celebrates the success of others in pursuit of a unified goal. We are thankful for the goals we have achieved, and the ones not yet conquered.
Instructor's class culture - We promote teamwork within each class because we see the value in unified, collaborative energy. Every rider contributes to the success of the room, no matter their experience level. The moment a rider enters the GritCycle studio space, they are a part of our team. Instructors proactively work with their riders to inspire those around them and support their fellow riders.
Integrity
Company culture - Integrity is defined as "being whole and undivided". We demonstrate sound moral and ethical principles. Our words and actions are trustworthy, and our communication is honest and transparent. "Integrity is the essence of everything successful." -R. Buckminister Fuller
Instructor's class culture - Instructors continually show up from a place of integrity. This shows up by building trust with your riders, providing strong and effective communication around class structure and choreography, and supporting every person(s) individual ride.
Passion
Company culture - Live Life centered around enthusiasm, passion, and love. It is in those moments we feel most intensely alive. Live with passion; as the French call it "joie de vivre", which means joy or love of life.
Instructor's class culture - Enthusiasm, passion, and love should be felt in every GritCycle class. GritCycle instructors proactively work to provide this with every experience. Passion is felt through an instructor's delivery, communication skills, interpersonal client experiences, the time and energy put into class structure, and their willingness to show up prepared professionally. Passion is the willingness to do the work that goes unseen, and we continually dedicate ourselves to going above and beyond.
Diversity
Company culture - A culture where everyone is able to be their best authentic self, experiencing the joy of each day. We embrace an inclusive environment where everyone feels safe and welcome, resulting in a diversity of thought, ideas, and perspectives.
Instructor's class culture - Instructors will always provide a safe environment for ALL riders who enter GritCycle - regardless of race, religion, status, political affiliation, sex or gender, etc. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive space where every rider can be their authentic self and experience joy under the blue lights.
