Position Overview
This is a field-based emergency response and sales role focused primarily on responding to active and recent fire loss situations, with additional responsibility for water damage emergencies. You will be on the ground in real time—engaging with property owners, residents, and stakeholders immediately following loss events to provide guidance, assess needs, and initiate restoration services.
This position requires urgency, professionalism, and the ability to communicate clearly with individuals under stress. Ideal candidates are comfortable responding quickly to emergencies, working flexible hours, and representing True North Restoration during time-sensitive situations.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmergency Response & Client Engagement
- Respond to active and recent fire loss situations within assigned territories
- Respond to water damage emergencies as needed
- Engage homeowners, residents, property managers, and business owners on-site
- Conduct initial property assessments and explain restoration next steps
- Serve as a calm, professional point of contact during emergency situations
Sales & Business Development
- Present restoration services and secure new projects in the field
- Build referral relationships with property managers, insurance agents, and adjusters
- Perform targeted community outreach in fire-prone and high-density areas
Site Assessments & Coordination
- Document property conditions and collect relevant loss information
- Coordinate closely with internal restoration teams to ensure accurate scopes
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the restoration process
Customer Experience & Relationship Management
- Ensure a high level of professionalism and empathy during all interactions
- Follow up with clients to maintain relationships and satisfaction
- Gather feedback to support continuous improvement
Reporting & Documentation
- Track leads, responses, and sales activity accurately
- Maintain organized documentation related to client interactions and projects
- Provide performance updates to management
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all company procedures, safety protocols, and industry regulations
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience (restoration, construction, roofing, or related industries preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, emergency-response environment
- Results-driven mindset with strong closing skills
- Valid driver's license and a good, clean driving record
Location Preference
Residents of DeKalb County, Lithonia, and Stone Mountain are strongly encouraged to apply.
Local candidates are preferred due to the rapid-response nature of this position.
