Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Assembly: Install wiring, panel layouts, and assembly of PLCs, electrical cabinets and motor control systems.  Potentially some basic hydraulic / mechanical assembly also.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices and systematic troubleshooting to resolve issues quickly.

• Electrical Drawing Interpretation: Read, understand, and apply electrical schematics and design outlined by our Engineering department.

• Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople, supervisors, and production teams. 

Work Environment

• Shop manufacturing floor - electrical panel shop

• Exposure to potential electrical hazards and industrial hydraulic testing

• Requires protective gear such as safety glasses and sometimes hearing protection. 

Pay rate: $34 - $36 / hr 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical: Proficiency with hand/power tools, testing equipment (multimeters), and electrical systems.

• Problem-Solving: Diagnostic and critical thinking skills for troubleshooting.

• Physical: Ability to work in various conditions (heights, tight spaces) and perform physical tasks.

• Training: Preferred electrical journeyman or apprentice but not required.
