NOTE: The start date for this position is May 2026 for 4 months.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager, EHS Performance and Training Services supports the evaluation, development and implementation of learning, training, and knowledge-based materials, tools and methodologies in support of Operations departments.  The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and must demonstrate initiative, a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the collaborative development of learning, training and/or knowledge-based initiatives and programs in support of business objectives.
  • Works with internal Subject Matter Experts on content design, development, implementation and delivery strategies for required learning materials.
  • Supports the delivery of programming based on new or changing business requirements, including modification or updates to existing programs and delivery strategies as required.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programming to ensure continuous development and business improvement.
  • Collaborates with Safety and Environmental Advisors /Technical Writer on standard development, editing and publication.
  • Demonstrate key behaviors and meet identified expectations outlined in our four cultural pillars – one team, continuous improvement, customer focus and personal accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1st year student, pursing a degree in Education, Business, Communications or equivalent program.
  • Experience with or an interest in adult learning for training environments is preferred
  • Proven ability/experience in the above noted responsibilities. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results oriented environment. Superior verbal and written communication skills, including solid writing and editing skills and the ability to translate highly technical topics into easily understood language.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and carry projects through to completion within a changing environment
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint, MS Office (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) and instructional or website design technologies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive customer outcomes.
  • Proven track record of good attendance and performance.
